Grace Slick was born October 30, 1939. She’s an American singer-songwriter, musician, artist, and former model. She’s a rock legend for her role in San Francisco’s psychedelic scene in the mid-’60s.
Her career spanned four decades, mainly with Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, and Starship. She started with The Great Society and also went solo. She’s known for her powerful voice on hits like “White Rabbit” and “Somebody to Love.”
