A.J. Cook, born Andrea Joy Cook on July 22, 1978, is a Canadian actress. She’s best known for playin’ Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer “JJ” Jareau on the CBS show Criminal Minds. She was in the first 15 seasons, left for a bit, then came back for the reboot in 2022.

She also popped up in films like The Virgin Suicides (1999), Out Cold (2001), and Final Destination 2 (2003). She started actin’ young, doin’ McDonald’s commercials at 17 before landin’ bigger roles.
