Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin; born February 3, 1978) is a British international human rights lawyer known for her work in public international law, criminal law, and human rights advocacy.
She has represented numerous high-profile clients, including former Maldivian president Mohamed Nasheed, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, former Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, and Nobel laureate Nadia Murad.
