Meet Nezihe Kalkan, aka Nez, born ’79 in İzmir, Turkey – a Turkish dancer and singer droppin’ a slick modern-oriental dance style mixed with techno-pop bangers.
After studyin’ in the UK, she came back to Turkey in the early 2000s and started poppin’ off with a one-of-a-kind show at a big-time Istanbul jazz club. She’s got two albums out and is actin’ in Fox Turkey’s sitcom Sıkı Dostlar (“good pals”) alongside Haluk Bilginer and Özkan Uğur.
