Meet Sahra Wagenknecht (16 July 1969), a German politician. She was in the Bundestag from 2009 to 2025, reppin’ The Left until 2023. From 2015 to 2019, she was co-chair of the party’s parliamentary crew.
She split from The Left on 23 October 2023 with a tight squad to start her own Eurosceptic, populist party, Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht. Tried to shake things up in the 2025 federal election but came up short, missin’ out on any seats. Since 2025, she ain’t holdin’ any public office.
