Irene Azuela Suárez, born October 27, 1979 in London, England, is a Mexican actress and producer. She started acting in 2000 on TV Azteca soaps like Todo por Amor, Amores… querer con alevosía, and La otra mitad del sol. Her first film was El búfalo de la noche in 2007, and she won Ariel Awards for Best Actress for Quemar las Naves (2008) and Bajo la Sal. She’s done theater (La Gaviota, Salomé), produced the series Paramédicos, and has a daughter born in 2015 with Enrique “Quique” Rangel, whom she married in 2017.
