Sondra Locke (born Sandra Louise Smith on May 28, 1944), was an American actress and director. She broke out in 1968 with The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, scoring an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She starred in hits like Willard, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Gauntlet, the Every Which Way But Loose movies, Bronco Billy, and Sudden Impact. She worked a lot with Clint Eastwood, who was her partner for over 13 years. Her memoir The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly – A Hollywood Journey came out in 1997.





















































True story....late 80's I'm about to walk into the Tower Records on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, and out of the corner of my eye I see a blond woman approaching behind me....so I step aside and hold the door open for her. It turned out to be Sondra Locke. Instead of a thanks for my chivalry, she proceeds to dress me down and says, "I am fully capable of opening doors for myself, thank you!"
