Hey, say what’s up to Keri Hilson! She went from songwriter to R&B superstar and dropped her first album In a Perfect World…, which hit #4 on the Billboard 200.
She got her start at fourteen in the band D’Signe and was part of the songwriting crew The Clutch. On top of her big hits, she also did some acting in the flick Think Like a Man in 2012.
Growing up in Decatur, Georgia with four siblings, she was part of a middle-class fam. Plus, she used to date basketball player Serge Ibaka. She made her singing debut on the track “The Way I Are” by Timbaland.
