Avril Lavigne celebrates her new rocker boyfriend Mod Sun’s 34th birthday with a romantic sunset beach trip in Santa Monica, 03/11/2021.

The two lovebirds looked head over heels as they kissed, held hands and snapped fun selfies. Avril, 36, made her tattooed beau laugh with some air guitar, and the two broke into peels of laughter as they played around like teenagers in love. At one point, Mod Sun, real name Derek Smith, lifted his girl up and she straddled him.

They recently went public with their romance and have recently been double dating with pals Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. Mod Sun grabbed coffee with a pal before the beach trip, wearing a face mask that said ‘Internet killed the rockstar.’
