Mara Darmousli (Greek: Μάρα Δαρμουσλή), born August 15 in Ptolemaida, Greece, is a Greek fashion model and occasional actress. Discovered in 1998 by agent Nikos Voglis, she won the Greek Elite Model Look, then placed third at the international final in Nice. That launched a big international career with covers on Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, and campaigns for Pantene, Nivea, Parah, Garnier, Clairol, and more.

She’s walked runways worldwide and in 2007 was named Model of the Year in Greece. On the acting side she appeared in films I Kardia tou Ktinous (2005) and Loufa kai Parallagi: Seirines sto Aigaio (2005), plus guest spots on Greek series like To Kokkino Domatio, Agria Paidia, and 3os Nomos.
Mara studied political science and history at Panteio University, trained in theater, and co-hosted the 2008–09 ET1 talk show “Εχουμε και λέμε” with Rika Vagianni and others. She’s a former member of ANASA, Greece’s first non-profit for eating disorders, and has a son named Angel (born March 31, 2006).
