In the season 2 premiere of "Euphoria" there's a scene in which Sydney's in a car with Jacob Elordi and the way Sam has her play that scene is PERFECT, but Sam inexplicably never delivers on the erotic allure that Sydney embodies in that scene. Later in the episode she's topless but the whole thing is played for laughs. Come on Sam! He's a great director, but even mediocre directors in the '90s and '80s would have eroticized Sydney more effectively.
