Sofía Daccarett Char aka Sofia Carson is an American actress and singer. She started her acting career in 2012, playing an occasional role in the TV series “Austin & Ally” on Disney Channel. In 2015, Sofia played the role of Evie in the film “Descendants,” and the same year, the cartoon series continued “Descendants: Wicked World.”
Also, in spring 2015, the Disney channel released the film “Adventures in Babysitting” with Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter in the lead roles. In March 2016, Sofia signed a contract with Hollywood Records and Republic Records and released her first single “Love Is The Name” on April 7th, which is a modified version of “Live Is Life” by Opus. On August 26th of the same year, Sofia introduced a new single, “I’m Gonna Love You.” In early 2017 she released a joint song with Alan Walker called “Back to Beautiful.”
